Young Actors Conservatory
Intermediate Level
Teens
Our conservatory program offers students more concentrated and focused learning, as they explore the speaking voice and movement for the stage through the performance of monologues/duologues/ short scenes (depending on the size of the class) and radio plays. Students in the teen conservatory are also given a Shakespeare monologue to explore.
Performance is a central part of the program and individual goal-setting is encouraged as students move through a fun, comprehensive series of internationally-recognized graded levels and "on-your-feet" acting exams intended to inspire, nurture, and develop the young person. We use the curricula of both the Royal Conservatory of Music (Canada) and the National Association of the Performing Arts (U.K.) Students are also encouraged to participate in showcases and local festivals.
