FULL VOICE VOCAL CURRICULUM®
Singing Classes
Developing the Young Singer-Musician
A place for young singers to discover and grow their own singing voice in a small, singing-focused, nurturing and supportive group setting (2-6 students) as well as receive instruction in general musicianship.
The first half of the class focuses on learning how to sing well (ie. comfortably, safely, and efficiently). We use the "Discover, Grow, Learn Curriculum" a vocal method especially designed for young, growing singers, by renowned singing teacher, Dana Lentini (USA). We also work on developing the overall musicianship of the young singer, using The Full Voice Workbook Series (a music curriculum for the vocal student), developed by voice teacher/educators, Nikki Loney and Mim Adams (Canada)
The second half of the class is spent learning and performing fun solo songs. First, the class learns the song together then performs the solo song collectively and as soloists. At the end of each session, each students has the option to choose their favourite song (of the songs worked on in class) to refine as a solo for a final performance.
