Drama Club
A recreational and inclusive drama program focused on ensemble theatre practices. Activities include theatre games, improvisation, and acting in short scenes.
The focus is on building self-esteem, developing communication skills, as well as exploring one's own identity both in the class and in the world. At the end of the term, there is a short, informal performance for family.
Maximum 10 students.

The Young Actor's
Conservatory
The focus is on solo (and duo) acting skills as students explore the speaking voice and movement for the stage through both improvisation and performance of the written word.
Other projects include:
(1) A brief introduction to Acting for the Camera for which they will prepare a short 1-minute monologue.(2) Performance in a recorded audio drama (radio play) presented over the internet to share in time for the holiday season!
Suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Broadway Glee Club
A skills-based musical theatre class focused on singing (solo, duo, ensemble) and learning choreographed movement. No casting procedure so ALL students sing and dance an equal amount. At the end of the term, there is a short, informal performance for family.

Developing Musicality & Singing
with the Ukulele
Students use the ukulele as a vehicle to read music, develop their singing voices as well as the ability to sing harmony and work as a musical ensemble. All highly valuable skills for a musical theatre performer! Not to mention, the ability to accompany their own singing will provide life-long enjoyment.
