Ready, Set... Act!
Grades 1- 3

In this class for 6-8 year olds,  students prepare short teacher-led plays for performance.  The focus is on listening and team work, as well as teaching students about the conventions of  theatrical performance such as the audience/performer relationship, stage directions, facing the audience, and the importance of staying "in character".

​Ready, Set... Act!  is a great introduction to the performing arts as well as excellent preparation for participation in more formal theatre practices (which typically start at age 9).​
