​Do you have a child in grade 4-7 who LOVES drawing or crafts?  Did you know that they can take all those passions and skills and direct them towards making magic for the theatre?!  .....OR....

Do you have a child in grade 4-7 that loves acting but is curious about the OTHER (just as important) aspects of theatre, like sets, costumes, props, makeup, lights and sound?

In Stagecraft & Acting, our goal is helping kids  explore VISUAL STORYTELLING in the theatre with fun HANDS-ON activities directly related to the core elements of stagecraft and how these are used to tell stories in the theatre.  We will, of course, get on our feet and do a bit of acting, too BECAUSE, as theatre designers and technicians, we must know the theatre from the actor's perspective, too.

NOTE: This NOT a "production class"; we are not "putting on a show".   However, we will produce a gallery of our physical creations and have them on display in our drama studio. (We will also put them in an online gallery).
